Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock Sets The Time To May 23 - G4tv.com www.g4tv.com »
Watch Larger Version | Watch HD Version
Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock finally has a release date. The action/platformer based on the hit BBC TV series has been kicking around for months with trailers and the like, but now we know when we'll be able to play it. And it's really soon!
The official Twitter feed for Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock confirms a worldwide PSN release on May 23, 2012. This just applies to the PlayStation 3 platform, however. A PlayStation Vita version will come to PSN a few weeks later, on June 13, in another global release. No reason is given for the platform delay. There's no date given for the PC release, though that one is still coming as well.
I think all Whovians can wholeheartedly agree that it's about bloody time. Why don't you take a peek at the trailer again to get yourself in the mood. The game's Trophy list is also now publicly available, though the more dedicated fans might pick up on a spoiler or two. CommentsMoreGaming » Play Station15 hours ago
Saints Row 4 Sort Of Confirmed For PS3, Xbox 360, And PC - G4tv.com www.g4tv.com »
We learn today, to no one's great surprise, that Volition, Inc. is working on a fourth Saints Row game, apparently for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC platforms. The sort-of-confirmation comes from a LinkedIn profile for a Volition game designer, as spotted by the gaming Internet's super-sleuth, Superannuation (via Polygon). The Saints Row 4 shout has since been edited out of the profile.
Saints Row: The Third has made big money for THQ since it launched in late 2011, so much so that it allowed the publisher to up its earnings forecast for the year. Not only was it good news for the financially struggling company, it also virtually guaranteed that we'd be seeing more from the world of Saints Row. This LinkedIn confirmation is interesting in the sense that the game is apparently targeted for current generation platforms, but I don't think any of us are surprised to hear that a fourth game is an actual thing.

Chris Mannix: Durant's expanding game could be key to young Thunder's title hopes | SI.com sportsillustrated.cnn.com » In the summer of 2010, Scott Brooks issued Kevin Durant a challenge: Defend. You're a great scorer, Brooks told Durant, but to be a great player you have to play both ways. Like Michael. Like LeBron. Like Kobe. "I said Kevin, if you want to be an elite player in this league, you can't do it on one end," Brooks told SI.com. "You are going to be known as one of the best scorers in the game. If you want to be known as something more than that, you have to play both ends." CommentsMoreGaming3 hours ago
Halo 4 Box Art Revealed Thanks To Group Puzzle-Solving Effort - G4tv.com www.g4tv.com »
Microsoft is using the lure of Halo 4's box art as an excuse to teach the fan community about a little thing called cooperation. A series of e-mails were sent out to the community, with each one containing a chunk of an image and a note that read: "Your piece of the Halo 4 puzzle." The NeoGAF hivemind then put its many heads together to assemble the image (via Kotaku), revealing the official box art for Halo 4.
It's a pretty sweet image, wouldn't you say? We all got our first glimpse of the post-Halo 3 Master Chief in an announcement trailer at E3 2011. News has been trickling out slowly since then, with the latest big one being the long-awaited confirmation of the game's release date: November 6, 2012. We'll certainly be seeing more of the game at E3 2012, so stay tuned for more news in the coming weeks. CommentsMoreGaming1 days ago

If ever there were a prime candidate for Pimp my Mouse, ROCCAT's SavuROCCAT's Savu would be it. The R.A.D. peripheral (no, really, that's the acronym) incorporates a category-first: an achievements application that rewards players for "a wide range of gaming feats, such as mouse movement, button clicks, scroll steps, etc." The tricked-out mouse also features an adjustable 4000 DPI optical sensor and Easy-Shift+ tech to let gamers program up to two dedicated functions per button. But, wait, there's more superfluousness to endure. In the event you feel the need to take this whole affair to 11, the company's also tossed in a customizable rear light bar that can be preset to one of 16.8 million colors. If you're a fan of over-the-top desktop accessories, you can snag this posterboy peripheral now for £38 at the virtual (or brick-and-mortar) retailer of your choice. Need more convincing? Then click on past the break for the hyperbolic presser from this extra-ordinary PC gaming kit.

Microsoft Announces $99 Xbox 360 - G4tv.com www.g4tv.com »
Microsoft has made its $99 Xbox official. The 360 with Kinect and a 4GB HD is available in Microsoft stores, and is only sold with a 2-year commitment to Xbox Live at $14.99 a month. Check it out on the official Microsoft site. Print the coupon and stop by a Microsoft store for the cheapest ever Xbox.
My question: is this kind of subsidized console going to catch on? We did the math, and the ultimate savings over traditional Xbox ownership is about $39 over two years, but the $15-a-month version of Gold might have some extra content.
So what do you think? Is this a good idea or not? Anyone planning on picking one up? CommentsMoreGaming » XBox9 days ago

BioShock Infinite Release Delayed To February 2013 - G4tv.com www.g4tv.com »
The planned October 16, 2012 release of BioShock Infinite has been pushed back to February 26, 2013, a message from Irrational Games creative director Ken Levine confirms. He explains that the delay will give the dev team the time that they need to polish everything up and make sure it all works as it should. It also means that we won't be seeing the game at this year's summer trade shows; Levine specifically names E3 and Gamescom as being off the table.
It's a bummer to be sure, but I think we can all agree that we'd rather see BioShock Infinite arrive late and whole than on time and unfinished. The coming holiday 2012 season is jam-packed with some huge titles, so it's not like we'll be wanting for things to play. You can find the full message from Levine reprinted after the jump.

Xbox 360 Rumor Points To Internet Explorer App With Kinect Controls - G4tv.com www.g4tv.com »
The Xbox 360 is all sorts of Internet-connected, but a newly surfaced rumor suggests that Microsoft will be revealing a dedicated Internet Explorer app for the console at E3 2012. The app will also include non-mandatory support for Kinect gestures and voince controls, The Verge reports via unnamed sources.
It's not terribly different from the current Bing search feature that is available on the Xbox 360, though that limits results to just media. The IE app would instead be a full-blown browser. There's no word on when this news will be officially revealed, though E3 2012 is of course the most likely bet. As for release timeframe... assuming this is true, Microsoft traditionally releases major dashboard/console updates in November, around the time of the Xbox 360's yearly anniversary. Battlefield 3's Dedicated Console Servers Are Disappearing - G4tv.com www.g4tv.com »
It seems that dedicated servers in the console versions of Battlefield 3 have largely disappeared since Electronic Arts and DICE launched the recent rent-a-server patch, allowing players to pay $30 for 30 days of private hosting. These lobbies can still be accessed from the in-game server browser, but they are subject to whatever rules that the renting player has established.
The news comes from various players via Venturebeat, which went and peeked at the server browser in the PlayStation 3 version of the game. Sure enough, only 17 EA-operated Battlefield 3 servers could be found amidst the multi-page list of multiplayer lobbies. I took a peek this morning at the Xbox 360 version of the game; without the rent-a-server patch downloaded, I found just three lobbies to choose from. Downloading the patch brought a flood of other servers into the browser, and just about all of them were of the rented variety.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier 'Arctic Strike' DLC Deploys This Summer - G4tv.com www.g4tv.com »
Ubisoft's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier hits stores on May 22, 2012, but the publisher is already looking ahead to the game's first DLC release with the reveal of the "Arctic Strike" pack. The July 3 release will set you back $9.99 (or 800 MS Points on Xbox Live), adding an assortment of multiplayer-oriented content to the game.
Like what, you ask? The press release offers no specifics, but you can definitely look forward to running your Future Soldier forces through new multiplayer maps, a new multiplayer mode, a new Guerilla mode map (think Horde), and six new weapons. It's a safe bet that much of this content will revolve around cold weather conditions, given the DLC's title. Should be a nice break from early July's hot summer weather.

Company Of Heroes 2 Fights Nazis On The Russian Front In Early 2013 - G4tv.com www.g4tv.com »
We already know that an upcoming issue of PC Gamer (UK edition) will cover the first details of Relic Entertainment's Company of Heroes 2, but now THQ confirms it in an official press release that outs the game for an early 2013 launch. The sequel will stick to its predecessor's World War II setting, though the action will now be moving out of Western Europe and over to the front lines in Russia.
The original Company of Heroes remains one of the strongest and most immediately accessible real-time strategy games around. Its strong focus on small unit tactics and control point-based map conquests offered lots of good times. The sequel's focus on the Eastern Front will leverage the power of the new Essence 3.0 Engine and introduce new features like Dynamic Battle Tactics and Commander Abilities. Look for more info on Company of Heroes 2 soon. CommentsMoreGaming » PC / Mac10 days ago
